He captured the NABF Junior Super Welterweight title on November 7, 2025, with a fourth-round TKO victory over Jose Edgardo Perdomo at the Tropicana Atlantic City. Figueroa recently teamed up with Martina’s Trattoria — a proud Ventnor Business Association (VBA) member — for a fun video highlighting the power of local support.
Located at 5210 Atlantic Avenue in the heart of Ventnor City, Martina’s is a charming, family-owned BYOB Italian spot serving authentic cuisine with a warm coastal vibe.
Inspired by Italian family roots and the philosophy of qualità e semplicità (quality and simplicity), the menu features wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas, fresh seafood like branzino, and classic dishes crafted with carefully selected ingredients.
Open year-round for dine-in and curbside pickup, Martina’s provides a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere that locals and visitors alike love. As a proud VBA member and supporter of local talent like Justin, it’s exactly the kind of business that helps make Ventnor such a special place.
Moments like this — where a rising Atlantic City boxer and a Ventnor favorite come together — show how connected our communities really are. Supporting local businesses fuels that energy while giving homegrown stars a platform to shine right here on the shore.
