Batch It Up Bakery: Making Ventnor’s Best Days a Little Sweeter
From summer concerts by the beach and bay to Halloween at Ski Beach, this pop-up bakery brings cookies, sweet treats and another reason to linger at Ventnor’s community events.
A good Ventnor event gives you a reason to put down the phone, get outside and spend a little time with your neighbors. Add music by the water, something good to eat and a cookie for the walk home, and the evening gets even better.
Batch It Up Bakery fits that scene beautifully. A Galloway-based pop-up bakery and VBA member, it brings its treats to community gatherings instead of asking everyone to come to a storefront. Here in Ventnor, its appearances at concert nights connect the business with the places where we already love to gather.
Now that October has arrived, the summer music calendar is giving way to costumes, fall festivities and holiday plans. Batch It Up’s own published schedule has three upcoming Ventnor appearances worth keeping on your calendar. First up: Ventnor Halloween Festival at Ski Beach on Sunday, October 25.
Next Ventnor Stop: Halloween at Ski Beach
Sunday, October 25, 2026 • 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
Ski Beach, Dorset and Burke avenues, Ventnor Heights
Batch It Up lists the festival on its October schedule, putting a sweet stop into a day of local fall fun. Make time to browse the bakery’s setup while you’re enjoying the event, and check its latest updates for the treats planned for that day.
The bakery’s blue-and-black tent makes a useful visual cue: look for the “Cookies & Sweet Treats” banner. Halloween may be the season of candy, but there is certainly room for a cookie in the plan.

A Sweet Part of Ventnor’s Concert Nights
The Ventnor connection goes beyond one upcoming festival. In a July 15, 2026 Facebook announcement, Batch It Up promoted its appearance at the Wednesday concert at Ski Beach. Another post marked the season’s final Wednesday concert there. On the ocean side, the bakery also announced an August 29 beach-concert appearance at Newport Avenue.
Those are two different sides of the same local pleasure: the bay at Ski Beach, the ocean at Newport Avenue, and neighbors making a night of it. A dessert vendor adds something simple but welcome to the experience. You can browse between songs, bring a treat back to your chair or pick up something to share.
That is the kind of connection a pop-up business can build here. The tent changes locations, but the encounters happen in familiar community spaces. For a VBA spotlight, that matters: Batch It Up isn’t only selling a product. Its Ventnor appearances give residents another small business to discover while supporting events they already enjoy.
Cookies, Batch Buckets & Something to Share
The bakery’s VBA profile highlights handcrafted cookies, signature Batch Buckets and themed treat boxes. Its own photo gallery gives an appetizing look at the range, including chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and peanut butter cookies. Think of the photos as a taste of its work; the lineup at an individual event can change.
For a festival visit, a cookie is an easy little indulgence. For a family gathering or a night with friends, a batch of treats turns into dessert for the table. There is something particularly inviting about a box that encourages everyone to choose a favorite.

A Pop-Up With a Wider South Jersey Following
Ventnor is the focus here, but the bakery’s travels also take it to other South Jersey communities. Its October schedule included Historic Smithville’s Oktoberfest earlier this month; the November and December calendar adds markets and gatherings outside town alongside its Ventnor stops.
There is independent coverage of that market presence, too. In a July 2025 Shore Local feature, writer Christina Martin visited Batch It Up at Egg Harbor Township’s Community Farmers Market and highlighted its cookie buckets. She also reported locally sourced ingredients and gluten-free offerings during that visit. Those are details from that earlier market appearance; ask the bakery about current ingredients and options when ordering.
The wider circuit helps explain how a Galloway business can become part of Ventnor’s event experience. It brings the bakery to the customer, with each stop offering another opportunity to discover it.

You don’t have to wait for the next festival to make an inquiry. Batch It Up lists custom orders and mixed treat boxes, and its official links page includes options to order cookies and treats by email or ask about bringing the bakery to an event.
A birthday, an office get-together, a holiday gathering or a casual Sunday with friends can all be a reason to ask what is available. Contact the bakery about flavors, quantities, timing and any ingredient questions; let it help you work out the details for your occasion.
For Ventnor residents who first discover it at Ski Beach or a Newport Avenue concert, that is an easy next step: enjoy the event-day treat, then keep the contact handy when your own calendar needs dessert.
