Baseball season is heating up, and Ventnor is ready to bring the energy of Citizens Bank Park right to the bayfront.
On Sunday, May 31, the Ventnor Business Association will host its 1st Annual Phillies Tailgate at Ski Beach, transforming one of Ventnor’s most popular gathering spots into a giant outdoor watch party as the Phillies take on the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
The event is the latest expansion of the VBA’s increasingly popular tailgate series. Over the last several years, Eagles tailgates at Ski Beach have become some of Ventnor’s most anticipated community events, bringing together residents, visitors, families, and local businesses for an afternoon of sports, food, and community spirit. Now, baseball fans get their turn.
The centerpiece of the event will be a gigantic LED screen broadcasting every pitch, hit, and home run live from Philadelphia. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, beach chairs, blankets, Phillies jerseys, rally towels, and plenty of team spirit.
Ski Beach has become one of the premier outdoor event venues in South Jersey thanks to its waterfront setting, wide-open space, and stunning sunset views across the bay.
