What an amazing day — and the perfect way to kick off the new year in Ventnor. January 1st delivered everything we could have hoped for, from big crowds and high energy to nonstop community spirit at the Polar Plunge, Winter Festival, and After Party.
The Ventnor Business Association would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to be part of it. The turnout was incredible, the enthusiasm was contagious, and the day was a true reflection of what makes Ventnor such a special place.
From brave plungers and cheering spectators to dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and local businesses, the entire day was filled with positivity, connection, and hometown pride.
🌊 Polar Plunge — Newport Beach
The day kicked off at Newport Beach with an enthusiastic crowd cheering on this year’s plungers. Whether jumping into the cold water or supporting from the sand, the excitement and community spirit were unmistakable. The plunge continues to be a signature Ventnor moment — equal parts fun, fearless, and community-driven.
❄️ Winter Festival — St. James Hall
Following the plunge, the celebration moved to St. James Hall for the Winter Festival, where residents and visitors gathered to continue the fun, support local, and spend time together. The festival space stayed busy throughout the afternoon and served as a warm, welcoming hub for the community.
🥂 After Party — Ventnor Social
The day wrapped up at Ventnor Social, where attendees gathered to warm up, unwind, and keep the celebration going. It was the perfect ending to a packed and memorable start to the new year.
