Thinking about helping with one of Ventnor’s most beloved traditions? Join us for a short, focused Polar Plunge volunteer meeting at SunDaze Ice Cream, one of our favorite local hangouts and a proud VBA member. We’ll outline day-of roles, timelines, safety basics, and how to make the experience seamless for participants and spectators — all while enjoying a friendly atmosphere and maybe even a cone or cup of their signature seasonal flavors to get in the spirit!

🤝 Multi-Association Networking Event

Wednesday, October 8 • 5:30–7:30 PM • Josie Kelly’s

Connect with entrepreneurs and community leaders from across Atlantic County at this multi-association networking event hosted by the Atlantic County Economic Development Association. Bring business cards, practice your 30-second intro, and make new connections before the holiday season ramps up.

• Open networking + casual introductions
• Learn about regional resources for small businesses
• Great for new and long-time VBA members alike

🦅 Eagles Tailgate at Ski Beach

Sunday, October 19 • 12:00–5:00 PM • Ski Beach

It’s almost kickoff! This is the final call for vendors. There is no charge for VBA members to be a vendor. All VBA businesses are also encouraged to have brochures, business cards, or giveaways featured at the VBA tent.

As a special perk of membership, all VBA member logos will be featured on the screen during the pre-game. Expect food, friends, football vibes, and loads of community spirit.

• Vendor Eligibility: Active VBA members (no fee)
• What to Bring: Table, signage, branded materials, and a small giveaway if you have one
• Tip: Chairs, sun protection, and a small battery pack for your phone are always handy

🏛️ November Membership Meeting

Join us for updates from city officials, a review of upcoming projects, and conversation about ways to support local businesses through the holidays and into the new year. We’ll include networking time after the main agenda.

Can’t attend in person? We plan to offer a livestream (details to follow).

🎁 Ventnor Social Holiday Bazaar

Saturday, November 22 • 11:00 AM–3:00 PM • Ventnor Social

VBA member Ventnor Social is hosting their 1st Annual Holiday Bazaar — a perfect place for local gift shopping. Vendors can feature goods, crafts, gift cards, experiences, and more.

• Ideal for makers, retailers, salons/spas, fitness studios, and service businesses
• Separate vendor flyer with details and registration will be posted soon

🎄 VBA Holiday Party & Networking

Kick off the new year Ventnor-style with a family-friendly winter festival featuring food trucks, a DJ, food & craft vendors, inflatable games, and more. The after party continues next door at Ventnor Social (6417 Ventnor Ave).

• Vendors: Interested in a spot? Please email us by November 10.
• Volunteers: We’d love your help the day of the event — email us to get plugged in.
• Sponsorships: Opportunities coming soon (DJ, inflatables, and official Polar Plunge swag).
• What to Bring: Warm layers, towels, water shoes, and a change of clothes if you’re plunging.
